Presidents Message Wecom, Incorporated, formerly Western Electronics and Communications started as a small telecommunications business in 1958. Originally it was a partnership owned and operated by Wilson J. Kite Trahan and his partner Ralph E. Antles. In 1983, Western Electronics and Communications incorporated, and the new name became Wecom, Inc. At this time I, Jack E. Trahan, a graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology in Electronics Engineering, became the president of the company. I was born in Opelousas, Louisiana in 1952 and moved to Kingman, Arizona in 1958 where I now reside. As president of the company, I have 31 years experience in the telecommunications field and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering. Since becoming president in 1983, I have strived to build a business that is based on honesty and professionalism. Over the last 31 years, Wecom, Inc. has become well known in the industry for our excellence in the field of telecommunications. This company has been in the telecommunications field since its inception, and has kept up with one of the fastest growing technologies in the world today. In the early 1960s we began designing, installing, and maintaining telecommunications systems, including two-way mobile and microwave for public safety, public utility, private, and industrial customers. Through the years we have gained a vast knowledge of the industry and share this knowledge with each and every one of our customers. We are now doing business with some of the largest telecommunications companies in the field and have gained their trust in our abilities. We now have several divisions in our company ranging from two-way mobile sales and installation to complete Cell and PCS site installations. We install and maintain microwave systems as well as any other products in the wireless field. Please visit our Products & Services page to see all of the services that we offer. Jack E.
